Thank you so much!!!

St. Louis, you showed up yesterday! It was so beautiful to see people from all races, ethnicities, religious backgrounds, causes and agendas come together for one cause… to stand up against fear, hate and oppression!  Today, many saw for the first time how our brothers and sisters are singled-out during demonstrations. Today, we said in one voice that “We Shall Not Be Moved!”

img_0280-jpgThousands of you took to the streets of downtown St. Louis to let the world know that the fear, hate and oppression that is synonymous with the Trump campaign will not be tolerated. As we marched through the streets, we made noise and we shut it down. The world around us came to a halt to hear the one message that we had for the world.

In the days and weeks ahead we will be organizing community sessions, trainings and other helpful resources that will allow us to continue the fight against fear, hate and oppression.

Today, we stand on the brink of an era when the United States stands to reverse decades of policy which has brought equality to millions of Americans. All of that is directly under attack by a Trump/Pence Administration.

If you agree that we cannot simply watch as hate and bigotry become a common place in the United States, please join with us.

In the coming weeks we will be having workshops and training sessions for anyone wanting to engage in civil disobedience. We will train everyone how to conduct public events in a safe but meaningful way. Other trainings will include:

  • How to engage the media for the cause
  • Controlling the message
  • Civil Disobedience
  • Keeping our privilege in check
  • Utilizing Legal Observers
  • Knowing your rights
  • Can you film the police?

Remember if you have not already done so, please text “solidarity” to 228-28 to be added to our contact list.

In Solidarity!
